Details on Editing Circuits
Information about the Edit circuits section in the radiant heating and cooling discipline.
After the construction of radiant heating circuits and radiant cooling circuits you can change the pipe laying and the connections. With the conversion between simplified and detailed display, which can be found in the Pipe laying section, you can combine all functions of the section.
You are here:
Edit circuits <
Select only radiant heating circuits and radiant cooling circuits in order to edit them afterwards. All other components are ignored. This simplifies the selection for complex projects with many components.
Areas
Re-lay selection <
If you have changed the contours of construction areas or added islands to the areas, you can recalculate the pipe laying of the selected radiant heating circuits or radiant cooling circuits. The pipe laying adapts to the contours of the modified construction areas.
Re-lay all
The pipe laying is recalculated for all construction areas contained in the project and adapts to changed contours. The construction areas on which a pipe system has already been laid are considered. Construction areas without pipe laying remain unchanged.
Connections
Space
The selection via the drop-down list allows you to determine the distance between the connections for placement.
Place <
The supply and return connections of selected radiant heating circuits and radiant cooling circuits are repositioned simultaneously.
The way the function is executed varies, depending on the type of display selected in the Pipe laying section.

Click any point. This point is then projected onto the nearest area boundary line of the construction area of the circuit, and the connections placed correspondingly. | The placement of connections in the simplified display is only possible in area plans. Placement within the construction area Click a point on an area boundary line of the construction area of the circuit, and the connections will be placed there. The symbol of the circuit will then be moved to the corresponding position. Placement outside of the construction area If you select a point on an area boundary line of a construction area not assigned to the circuit, with a further click you must specify the side of the selected construction area on which the symbol of the circuit is to be placed. This allows the circuit to be displayed visually outside its construction area, so the semantic reference to its construction area remains intact. |
Place freely <
The supply and return connections of selected radiant heating circuits and radiant cooling circuits can be repositioned independently of each other at different points.
The function is deactivated if the checkbox simplified display is activated in the Pipe laying section. If you apply the function to a circuit that is in the simplified display, the circuit will be automatically converted to the detailed display.
Swap <
The supply and return connections of selected radiant heating circuits and radiant cooling circuits are reversed.
