Selection Manufacturer and Duct Component Type
Select the duct component.
Element | Description |
---|---|
Manufacturer | Drop-down list with manufacturers that provide models for the required duct component. |
Duct Component Type | Select a duct component type. For some duct component types, it is possible to refine the selection with a duct component sub-type. |
Models/Name | After selecting manufacturer and duct component type, available models are listed. Select a model to display the corresponding versions in the table. |
Filter table versions and accessories
Use this filter to further narrow down the selection of duct components in the Models/Name section.
Element | Meaning |

Record no. | Record nor. according to VDI. |
Property, Name | For each property, a variant can be selected in the drop-down list of the Name column. |
Table of Duct Component Models
The column entries in the table vary depending on the selected duct component type.
Element | Meaning |
---|---|
Selection | Enabled: The duct component with the selected nominal diameter can be used for calculation. Disabled: The duct component with the selected nominal diameter will not be used for calculation. |
Name | Shows the dimension of the selected component. |
Order number | For manufacturer duct components, the manufacturer-specific order number of the component. |
V(min)/V(max) | The component-specific minimum and maximum volume flow rate in cubic meters per hour. |
VDI import ...
This function allows you to import data sets in VDI and TGA format, which are then available in the Select Duct Component dialog.
Reports ...
Notes or errors may occur during transfer or testing. The button Reports... is colored red for errors and orange for notes. To ensure planning reliability in cases of errors, the data set will not be transferred and can not be used. If notes exist, they should be read in the report. Transfer is possible after reading the notes by clicking Apply. The note is not displayed again after the duct component has been added to the preselection (Select Duct Component dialog).
Info...
Opens the curve data dialog for the selected duct component. In addition to general information about the duct component, the characteristic curve and the setting values are displayed in relation to the selected dimension.
The activated duct component types will be checked simultaneously. If the check fails, faulty kinds can be deactivated ahead of transferring the selection.
