Search Field

When you enter a search term, the tree structure is filtered for the entered text. You can also search for partial terms.

Drop-down List

Contains a list of available TEC files for the current discipline. TEC files contain sub-variants of components and the relevant calculation data. The drop-down list is activated when a component variant is selected in the tree structure so that the stored sub-variants are displayed in the list field.

Tree Structure

In the tree structure, the classification of components is arranged over three levels. On the first level, select the discipline (e.g. gas) to which the component belongs. On the second level, select the component type (e.g. Control System). On the third level, select the actual component variant (e.g. shut-off valve).

Sub-variants List

Depending on the component variant, further sub-variants are displayed in the list at the top right (e.g. angled stopcock). The available selection of sub-variants depends on which TEC file is selected from the drop-down list. Each sub-variant contains its own technical data for the calculation.

Overview of Calculation Data

When a component variant or sub-variant is selected, classification data and basic component data (e.g. zeta value) are displayed in the field at the bottom right.
