First Steps with LINEAR Building

Get basic information about the structure and function of LINEAR Building.

LINEAR Building is the central tool in the LINEAR software family for calculating building loads. Calculate both heat and cooling loads. You can also calculate dynamic cooling loads with annual simulation, create diagrams for pipe networks or determine the air volumes for the rooms in the building to be planned. In the different design modules, you can cover the calculated building loads directly with manufacturer products if required and also draw them into a connected CAD if necessary.

LINEAR Building can connect to any platform supported by LINEAR: Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit and CADinside. In this documentation, the term CAD refers to the currently connected platform.
