Adding New Components

Shows step-by-step how to add new elements to a pipe run view.

Before you begin

You would like to add new elements to the pipe run view, for example, to assign new manifolds to a circuit.

In the example, the general procedure is explained at the example of adding a further manifold. You can proceed likewise with all other elements in the pipe run view. The selection of parts and part groups you can add depends on the level of the button in the pipe run view.

Navigate to:

Module Overview ➤ Module Selection ➤ Pipe Run View

Applies to: Radiators, Cooling Convectors, Radiant Heating, Radiant Cooling and Domestic Ventilation.

Procedure

  1. Click beneath the pipe run.

    The Component or Component Group dialog opens.

  2. Select Manifold, if need be set Number and Name and confirm with OK.

Results

The new manifold is now in the pipe run view.

You can now use Drag-and-Drop to assign circuits to the manifold.
