Defining Radiator Connections

Shows step-by-step how to define radiator connections.

Before you begin

With radiator connections you add additional connection material to the material list.

Requirements:

  • The pipe network is detected.

  • In the pipe tables, a manufacturer system is selected that contains connection sets for radiators.

  • Connections have been assigned to the radiators using the Assign radiator connection function.

Navigate to:

Procedure

  1. Open the Components section.

  2. Click Connections ....
  3. Select a radiator.

    The connection of the radiator is defined in the component family und is displayed here.

  4. Select a connecting set.

    In the table you can change the quantity of items and mark an item as alternative item.

    Use the Add function to add more material from the manufacturer data set to the connecting set.

  5. Close the dialog with OK.

Results

The selected radiator connection is set and the corresponding connecting material is given out in the material list.
