Dialog Settings for calculation Gas in the LINEAR Solutions for Autodesk AutoCAD

Procedure

  1. In the Component detection area, decide whether or not to accept Modeled dimensions in the network during detection (for a selection).
  2. In the Calculation presettings area, enter the Height above sea level for your project to determine the correct air pressure and thus the density of the medium.
  3. Check and correct the values for the Outdoor air if necessary.
  4. Under Dimensioning presettings, specify whether the dimensioning should be based on the default values for maximum velocity and/or maximum pipe friction loss defaults.
  5. In the section Zeta values, specify how the zeta values are to be determined.
  6. Disable the option Material determination for each calculation if you have a large project and want to shorten the calculation time.

Results

The basic settings for the calculation have been made and are now taken into account by the calculation.
