Details on Component Data for Regulating Devices

Information about the technical data dialog for regulating devices.

In order to be able to precisely set up a pressure balance, there are regulating devices of various construction types, from perforated sheets through to air flow rate controllers.

The pressure loss can be adjusted for all types of regulating devices in order to achieve optimal network balance. Resulting are the adjusted values depending on the construction type of the regulating device.

Name

Specifies the name of the component. You can modify the name. Clicking restores the default setting.

Pressure loss calculation

If a manufacturer component has been used, its data will be displayed automatically (read-only). The results returns both the necessary pressure loss as well as the free cross-section with reference to the currently determined dimension. You can set an Internal pressure loss yourself.

In addition, you have the possibility to define and use individual pressure loss curves via the button Curve data ... to define and use individual pressure loss curves.

Duct component, Sound level, Geometry

Information on these sections of the component data can be found on the page “Details on duct component, pressure loss calculation, sound level, duct material/insulation and geometry in the components”.
