Calculation

Nominal diameter: Either a fixed nominal diameter can be selected, or the selection of the nominal diameter is determined by the calculation (dimensioning). After the calculation, the calculated values are displayed below the drop-down list (Current:, Section load:, Working pressure:).

Pressure loss due to single resistance

Zeta: You can enter an additional pressure loss as zeta value. If you calculate according to ÖVGW G11, the zeta value for all components is determined by the program and the field is deactivated.

Gas shut-off cock

If a shut-off valve is used in the immediate vicinity in front of an appliance (consumer), the valve is recognized as a gas shut-off cock during the first calculation and the checkbox is automatically activated. In case not, you may activate the option manually. The setting will have an effect on the pressure loss calculation and the display of materials in the parts list.

Gas meter cock

If a shut-off valve is used in the immediate vicinity in front of a gas meter, the valve is recognized as a gas meter valve during the first calculation and the checkbox is automatically activated. In case not, you may activate the option manually. The setting will have an effect on the pressure loss calculation and the display of materials in the parts list.
