General Settings and Basic Conditions

Explains the concept of general settings and basic conditions in the heating and cooling pipe network calculations.

Before you start calculating the pipe network after the design, you should make the settings relevant to the calculation in order to achieve realistic results as quickly as possible.

Check the settings for the system types to be included in the calculation and decide whether the entire network or only parts of it should be included in the calculation. Adjust tolerance and limit values to the conditions of your project and set basic parameters for thermostatic valve sizing.
