Columns and other components are not detected

Problem

Columns or similar components relevant to the coverage of enveloping surfaces are not detected.

Possible cause: missing room bounding

In the Properties of the component, the Room Bounding option is not enabled.

Solution

In your architectural model, check whether the Room Bounding option is enabled in the Properties of the relevant components.

Note: In many cases, it is not necessary to consider columns for detection of the enveloping surfaces. If you still wish to do this, please note that this can significantly increase the number of enveloping surfaces to be considered and thus the effort required for detection.
