Assigning Insulation

Explains the concept of assigning insulation in the duct network calculation.

In the Assign Insulation dialog you determine insulation, maximum velocities and maximum pipe friction pressure loss for various use cases and assign these properties to ducts in your drawing. You can define custom applications and save the configuration in a separate file.

Each entry is defined by the name of the application. If the insulating material or insulation thickness of an application is changed retrospectively, after clicking OK, the changes are automatically effective for all pipes that have been assigned this application. This enables materials changes to be carried out with minimal effort even in large networks.
