About the IFC Import Table

Explains the concept of the IFC import table for the assignment of IFC classes and types into Revit categories.

In the IFC import table you configure the assignment of IFC classes and types into Revit categories and subcategories. When opening or linking IFC files in Revit, the assignments specified in the IFC import table to the corresponding Revit categories are performed.

Missing IFC classes or types can be added to the IFC import table and assigned to the desired Revit categories.
