Detecting Building

Explains the concept of building detection as an interface between LINEAR Solutions and LINEAR Building.

The preparation and construction of your pipe or duct network takes place in Revit. The analysis and calculation of the building loads takes place in LINEAR Building. The Building detection function collects all relevant data and makes it available for detection with LINEAR Building. The transferred data is used to create a thermal building model in LINEAR Building that can be as detailed as desired.

Here you can make settings for the building detection and define which parameters should be detected by LINEAR Building.
