Setting Building Unit Data

Shows step-by-step how to set fundamental building unit data.

Before you begin

You would like to set fundamental settings for a building unit.

Navigate to:

Module overview ➤ Heat load ➤ Building unit level ➤ Heat load ➤ General building unit data

Procedure

  1. Activate the option Calculate temperature theta_b according to annex F.2, if the calculation of transmission losses at components adjacent to this building unit shall be calculated according to annex F.2.
  2. If this building unit uses a heat transfer system that differs from the global selection, specify the Heat transfer system for rooms higher than 4 m here.
  3. Define the Safety class ISSO 51 for the building unit so that the corresponding safety factor (Correction factor c_z) is taken into account when calculating the heat loss of room components that border on rooms in another building unit of the project.
