Details on Editing Room Group
Information on the Edit room group section when calculating the cooling load at project level by the abbreviated method.
You can divide the rooms in your project into different room groups and thus introduce building zones by cooling loads.

Room groups
Use room groups to edit data for several rooms simultaneously such as inside temperatures, room types, internal loads, individuals or lighting.
If you have not yet created separate room groups, the dialog includes as default the room group All rooms, which includes all rooms of the project. You cannot deactivate any rooms in the All rooms room group.
Double-clicking on <New room group> creates a new room group. In the Active column, you can activate the desired rooms for this room group.
Room data
Room temperature
Defines whether the room temperature in the rooms of the selected room group remains constant over the course of the day or is changed continuously as per DIN 1946-2. If you select a constant room temperature, the room temperature for the cooling case from the general room data is used for the room cooling load calculation. If you select the continuously changing temperature as per DIN 1946-2, the interior temperature fluctuates within the given temperature limits and the comfort criteria of DIN 1946 Part 2, in parallel with the exterior temperature.
Room type
Defines the storage effect of the rooms in the selected room group.

Fixed room temperature for the selection Constant in the course of the day.
ti min/ta min/ti max/ta max
Gives the minimum and maximum interior and exterior air temperatures over the course of the day for calculating the continuously changing room air temperature according to DIN 1946, if you have selected sliding according to DIN 1946-2 for the room temperature.

Active
Click in the desired cell adds a room to the marked room group (checkmark placed) or removes a room from the marked room group (no checkmark).
Room name
Displays the floor and room number and the room name.
Individuals, lighting, machinery
Inside the selected room group, allows the creation and setting of internal loads for individuals, lighting and machinery.
