About Location and Climate Data sets
Explains the concept of location and climate data sets in .
In , a variety of location and climate data sets are available for the different calculation bases. From these data sets you can select your project location and thus define the climatic boundary conditions for your project. You need location and climate data sets to determine heat and cooling loads and to design a domestic ventilation system.
Adjusting supplied location and climate data
If the supplied location and climate data does not meet the requirements of your project, e.g. because your project is located at a higher altitude and is therefore exposed to different conditions, you can adjust the corresponding dataset accordingly. If your project location is missing completely, you can add it to a delivered data set. You can also add additional zip code ranges to locations. Once modified, you can also reset data sets to their original state.
Create custom location and climate data
If your project location is not included in the delivered datasets, you can also create your own data sets for countries, regions or areas and assign them to your project.
