Create Slots, Openings and Core Drill Holes

Learn how to create slots, openings, and core drillings in your drawing in the Slot and opening planning discipline, for example, to guide pipes and ducts through walls and ceilings.

For 2D and 3D drawings, the Slots and opening planning discipline provides all the necessary tools to create slots, openings and core drillings in your drawing. Additionally, you can use the Collision check to check whether pipes or components collide with architectural elements, so that you can correct the corresponding areas afterwards, if necessary.

Various preconfigured markers are available for marking slots, openings and core drill holes in the Label Components section of the Labeling and Output tab, which you can adapt to the requirements of your project if necessary. You can also create your own labels.
