Transfer Supply and Extract Air Volume Flow to a CAD Program

Shows step-by-step how to transfer the supply and extract air volume flows determined in the Ventilation module to a connected CAD program in LINEAR Building.

Before you begin

You want to transfer the supply and extract air volume flow rates resulting from the air volume calculation to a connected CAD program.

Requirements:

  • You have opened either Revit, AutoCAD or CADinside with the corresponding building.
  • A connection to the CAD program has been established.
  • The synchronization settings in the configuration of LINEAR Building are set according to the requirements of your project.

Navigate to:

LINEAR Building ➤ Toolbar

Applies to ventilation and heat load.

Procedure

  1. Click on Update .
    The following context menu opens:
    Menu with the Update Options in LINEAR Building
    Tip: To transfer only the volume flow rates of certain structure levels, e.g. a room or a storey, select the desired structure level in the Building Structure and click again so that you are offered the corresponding option in the menu.
  2. Click on Start….

    All changed and supplemented data is transferred to the CAD program in accordance with the selected synchronization settings.

Results

You have transferred the supply and extract air volume flow rates to your CAD program.
