Cooling load zone area in the general cooling load data of LINEAR Building

Location Selection

Opens the Locations dialog, where you can choose a location for your project.

City, Surrounding, Free Specification

Determines whether the cooling load calculation is to be performed for the center or for the periphery of the selected location. If you select Free Presetting, you can determine the cooling load zone for the selected location under Zone. There is information on designing cooling load zones in the VDI 2078 standard.

Annual Average Temperature

Defines the annual average outdoor temperature. The Annual Average Temperature is part of the location data and can be adjusted if necessary. This parameter is synchronized with the Annual Average Temperature in the General Heat Load Data. Changes may therefore also affect the heat load calculation.

Note: No annual averages for outdoor temperatures are stored in the location data for Austria.

Note

Allows entry of a note on location selection, such as the concrete location.

Zone

Determines the cooling load zone. You can find information on designing cooling load zones in the corresponding standard.
