Inserting a Secondary Pipe Run

Shows step-by-step how to design additional secondary pipe runs that connect two storeys vertically.

Before you begin

You want to dsign additional secondary pipe runs in your pipe run scheme that connect two storeys vertically so that the connection to the main pipe run is only made on the lower storey.

Procedure

  1. In the lower storey that is to be connected, place the Secondary pipe run start symbol on the desired symbol fields.

  2. In the upper storey that is to be connected, place the Secondary pipe run end symbol on the symbol fields located above the Secondary pipe run start symbols of the lower storey.

    Note: It is also possible to leave symbol fields empty so that the storey connection can be realized even if the number of symbols in the storey is not the same.

Results

The secondary pipe runs have been layed out and the connection to the main pipe run is only made at the lower storey.
