Checking and Adjusting Radiator Data

Shows step-by-step how to check radiator data in the scheme generator and adjust the data if necessary.

Before you begin

You would like to check the data of a radiator accessible via the scheme generator and adjust it if necessary.

Requirement:

The schematic view contains designed radiators.

Navigate to:

Project - tab ➤ Discipline ➤ Planning type 2D Scheme Planning ➤ Create - tab ➤ Storeys and Generators ➤ Scheme Generator, Heating ...

Procedure

  1. Select a radiator in the Building structure.
    In the schematic view, the symbol of the radiator is highlighted in color. The symbols of the radiators in the scheme are labeled with the room number and the capacity of the radiator.
    Tip: If you select a radiator in the schematic view, it will also be selected in the building structure.
  2. Position the cursor on a radiator symbol of the schematic view.

    A tooltip with the basic data of the radiator appears.

    1. Room number
    2. Room name
    3. Radiator model
    4. Radiator dimensions
    5. Radiator capacity
  3. Click a radiator symbol in the schematic view.

    The following context menu opens, in which the connection variant of the radiator is highlighted in color:

  4. Select the item Radiator data... in the context menu.

    The Connection dialog with all important information regarding the radiator connection opens and you can make adjustments.

Results

You have checked all radiator data accessible via the scheme generator and adjusted the data if necessary.
