Combining Modules into Groups
Shows step-by-step how to combine modules in the panel heating into groups in order to connect the groups hydraulically in parallel or in series.
Before you begin
You want to connect modules/plates in the panel heating network with a Tichelmann system in series or parallel and transfer the data on the hydraulic connection to LINEAR Building.
Requirements:
The required modules are placed in the drawing and the planning for the connection of the modules is complete.
After starting the command, you will receive corresponding instructions from the software on how to proceed.
Navigate to:
Applies to: Panel heating, Panel cooling
Procedure
- Click Groups <.
- Select all modules that should belong to a group and confirm the selection with Enter.
- Click on the module that should receive the connection for the group.
- Enter a name for the module group. The name of the module group is also transfered to LINEAR Building during building detection.
- Skip the specification of a module group hydraulically connected upstream with Enter if
- this is the first module group of a series, or if
- the module groups are to be connected in parallel.
- Enter the name of the module group hydraulically connected upstream if this is not the first module group of a series.
Results
All modules are combined into groups and hydraulically connected as required. The information is transferred to LINEAR Building during the building detection and can be supplemented and edited in the pipe run view if required.
