Details on Component Data
Information about the dialog Component - Data in 3D model planning.
This dialog allows you to insert components from the available manufacturer catalogs and components that have already been placed in your drawing into a manifold.
You are here:
Filter
In this area you can filter the components by Component type, Min. pressure rating, Dimension and Manufacturer. The results of the filtering are displayed in the Component section.
Component type
Dropdown list for filtering by component type or by components already placed in the drawing. To filter by components already placed in the drawing, select the entry From project. Then all the components that have been inserted in the drawing as a block will be displayed. When using components already placed in the drawing, the component is copied from the drawing and not loaded from a manufacturer catalog. This allows you to insert components, such as VDI fittings, that come from data sets that are not available by default in the manifold generator.
Min. pressure rating, Dimension, Manufacturer
Dropdown lists for filtering by minimum pressure rating, nominal size and the manufacturer.
Component
Lists the available parts according to the set filter and allows to select them.
Image, Preview
With these two buttons you can switch between the product image and a preview of the component, if these are stored in the manufacturer data set. In the Preview, the component is displayed as it is rendered in the drawing and you can rotate the component with the left mouse button pressed and zoom it with the mouse wheel. With the mouse wheel pressed, you can move the component.
Data
Displays the dimensions of the selected component.
Options
Rotation
Drop-down list for specifying the rotation angle at which the part will be inserted into the manifold. You can check the resulting orientation of the component in the Preview.
Increased space requirement
Allows you to specify an increased space requirement for components. The increased space requirement is then taken into account in the Spindle heights.
