Creating Usage Units

Shows step-by-step how to create usage units in the disciplines of potable water and waste water.

Before you begin

You want to create usage units to define the number of users per unit.

Requirements:

To ensure that usage units are included in the calculation, you have enabled the Consider usage units option in the settings.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline ➤ Analyse tab ➤ Usage units ...

Applies to: Potable water, Waste water (SP30.13330.2016)

Procedure

Click Create <.
The dialog is hidden and the pickbox is enabled.
Use the pickbox to select all tapping valves of a usage unit and confirm your selection with Enter.
The dialog is displayed again.
Enter a suitable Name for the utilization unit in the Name column.
If necessary, adjust the Number of users for this usage unit in the Number of users column.
Complete your entry by clicking in an empty row and repeat the steps for all the desired usage units.

Results

All usage units have been created and will be included in the calculation.
