Add Room Numbers

Shows step-by-step how to add room labels with room numbers and temperatures.

Before you begin

You want to add room labels with room numbers and temperatures to the rooms in your drawing and define the corresponding room temperatures.

Navigate to:

“Labeling and Output” tabCommand group “Label drawing”

Applies to all disciplines.

Command group “Label drawing” in the LINEAR Solutions for Autodesk AutoCAD

Procedure

  1. Click on Room number <.

    The room label is attached to the cursor for placement.

  2. Specify the position of the room label by clicking in the drawing.
  3. Use the mouse to set the alignment of the room label and click to activate the alignment.
    The AutoCAD dialog Edit Attributes opens.
  4. Enter the desired room temperature for the room in the Temperature field.
  5. Enter the room number in the Room No. field and confirm your entries with OK.
    The entered data is transferred to the room label.
  6. Add further room labels to your drawing if required.

Results

You have added room labels with room numbers and temperatures and set the corresponding room temperatures.
