Identify Components Without Item Numbers

Shows step-by-step how to check components in your drawing for missing item numbers in 3D Model planning.

Before you begin

You want to check components for missing item numbers.

Requirement:

Item numbers have already been assigned to the components using the Assign item numbers ... command.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline ➤ Planning type 3D - Model planning ➤ “Labeling and Output” tab ➤ Command group “Label components”

Applies to: Heating, Potable Water, Waste Water, Cooling, Ventilation, Gas, Electricity and Fire protection.

Procedure

  1. Click on Check missing item numbers <.
  2. Select the components to be checked in the drawing.
    Tip: You can select individual components by clicking on them or use the selection frame. To check all components in the drawing, you can enter ALL using the keyboard and then confirm your entry.
    If there are components without item numbers in the selection, the following message appears:

  3. Click Yes.
    The Reports dialog opens.

  4. Use the show button to display components in the drawing that do not have an item number.

Results

You have checked components in your drawing for missing item numbers and have displayed the components without numbers in the drawing.
