Details on Reference Line <
Information on the section Reference line <.
You are here:
If a text object has already been inserted in the drawing, you may use this command to create a reference line from the text object to one or multiple pipes (line objects). Where the reference line crosses the pipes, either nodes with an adjustable diameter or diagonal lines of a definable size are inserted. You can also use this function to draw reference lines that only have a node at the end point.
The reference line may also point to a freely selectable position in order to label other objects than lines. This is only possible by using the Node at reference line or Only at endpoint options.
Diameter
Determines the diameter of the nodes or the size of the diagonal lines.
Node at reference line
This option creates nodes with the selected diameter at the end of the reference line and where it crosses lines.
only at end point
The node is created only at the endpoint of the reference line and any cross points with lines are ignored. This option must also be activated if a reference line is not to end on a line but on a free position.
Diagonal line at reference line
Use this option to create a forward slash with the length of the designated diameter at the end of the reference line and where it crosses pipes.
Select media
Enable Select media if a reference line crosses multiple pipes but only particular media should be considered for the node or slash.
