Add and Customize Drawing Texts

Get basic information on adding and customizing drawing texts.

You can add any texts to your drawing as well as customize existing texts. You can choose between single-line texts and texts with line breaks. To access frequently used texts again, you can save them.

If you are missing room labels with room numbers and temperatures or height marks for pipes, you can add these at a later date. If, for example, you would like to provide inserted texts with reference lines, various setting options are available for the reference lines.

For better interpretation of the drawing, you can create a legend that automatically contains all the symbols used in the drawing with their designations and that can be customized.

You can use the section and view labels to adjust section and view labels that have already been placed or to draw section lines in the model.

You control the appearance of the added elements through various text setting options that define the text style. Of course, you can also use tools for subsequent editing of the text styles and textual content of the various elements. When editing texts or strings of the drawing afterwards, the command for finding and replacing texts or strings also makes your work easier. You can use the translation functions, which work similarly, in different ways.
