Details on Component Data for the Partial Network End

Information about the dialog for component data for the partial network end.

The component has a connector point which can be connected to existing air ducts. The partial network end always is the computational end component of a duct network or a partial network, independent of the air’s flow direction. Thus, the partial network end can be used as a consumer (outlet) or as a connection to another partial network (starting with a partial network start).

Name

Specifies the name of the component. You can modify the name. Clicking restores the default setting.

Performance data

You can, depending on the system type (supply air or exhaust air) and on whether the partial network end is connected, or not, enter pressure loss, volume flow rate, room temperature and air humidity.

Sound level

Since the partial network end can also be used as a generic component to replace complete, undefined network sections, the sound level calculation is consequently based on the residual sound level at this point.

Connection

In the section Connection you can link the partial network end with a partial network start. The Name of the partial network start, if existing, will be displayed here. Clicking the Assign button minimizes the dialog and allows you to select the partial network start to be linked. Click Unfix to remove the connection. Use the button to display the linked partial network start in the drawing, if a link has been created. The program zooms in on the part and also marks the position with an arrow. Click to show a temporary line between connected partial network starts and partial network ends.
