Configuring VDI Windows

Shows step-by-step how to configure VDI windows for your project.

Before you begin

You know which windows are planned for your project and want to have these calculated in compliance with the standards.

Navigate to:

Module overview ➤ Dynamic cooling load ➤ Project level ➤ Window configurations

Procedure

  1. In the Configuration section, click on and enter a name for this configuration.
  2. In the Calculation model section, click on VDI 2078.
  3. From the Run dropdown list, select the window configuration that is nearest to that planned.

    The remaining parameters are populated with the values for the selected configuration.

  4. Change the remaining parameters, if necessary, to the planned window configuration.
  5. Repeat the process for all planned window types in your project.

Results

The windows of your project are configured with the correct settings and can be assigned at room level.
