Details on Machines and Devices
Information on the Machines and devices dialog in the dynamic cooling load calculation.
You are here:
Table
You can assign room-specific load profiles for machines and devices.
Column | Description |
---|---|
Quantity | Number of lights/people/devices/air streams or mass flow rates to which this load is to apply. The load [W] is multiplied by the number. At room level, the number of people per square meter is automatically calculated for people from this specification. |
Usage profile sets | Displays the currently assigned usage profile set. Click to open the Usage Profiles dialog, where you can select additional profile sets or create new ones. |
Name | Click to open a dialog with a list of templates for calculating the load, depending on the load type When a template is selected, the data from the template is copied to the table. After the data transfer, the name can be adjusted manually (existing templates remain unaffected by the manual adjustment). |
Usage % | Percentage to which the selected profile set is used. This value is considered in addition to the usage values in the profile set. Accordingly, a profile of 50% with a usage of 50% is 25% effective. |
B,con %, B,rad % | The room load factor indicates what portion of the convective portion of the internal load will have an effect in the room. B,con reduces with values <100 % the convective portion of the total load; B,rad the radiant portion. |
Load W | The capacity delivered by the internal load in the room. When entering this value, the value for the specific load will be determined automatically. |
Load/m2 W/m2 | The area-related capacity delivered by the internal load in the room. When entering this value, the absolute load will be determined automatically. |
Convection % | Percentage of the load that is convected directly to the room air. The rest of the load acts radiatively on the enveloping surfaces present in the room. |
Latent load W | Absolute load generated by evaporation in Watt. |
Latent load/m2 W/m2 | Specific latent load per square meter in Watt. |
