Installing Softlock Automatically
Shows step-by-step how to install your softlock automatically on your license server.
Before you begin
You received your .linlic license file and would like to install the softlock on your license server.
Requirement:
All the points mentioned on the Prerequisites for installing software protection page are taken into account.

Tip:
You can also license your softlock manually with LINEAR Admin.
Procedure
- Save the .linlic license file on your license server.
- Read the .linlic license file on the server. Tip:
The name of the file is composed of the dongle number and the file extension *.linlic.
- Run the .linlic license file by double clicking.
The license file is automatically read by LINEAR Installation Center and your softlock is created.
Results
The license data has been read successfully and your softlock has been installed.
