Importing License File Automatically
Shows step-by-step how to automatically read your .linlic license file to license your HASP SRM dongle.
Before you begin
You have purchased one of the LINEAR Software solutions and would like to import your .linlic license file to license the HASP SRM dongle.
Requirements:

All the points mentioned on the Prerequisites for installing software protection page are taken into account.

The dongle is plugged into a free USB port of the license server.

You can also license your dongle manually with LINEAR Admin.
Procedure
- Save the .linlic license file on your license server.
- Read the .linlic license file on the server. Tip:
The name of the file is composed of the dongle number and the file extension *.linlic.
- Run the .linlic file by double click.
The license file is automatically read out by the LINEAR Installation Center.
Results
The license data has been successfully imported and your HASP SRM dongle is licensed.
