Details on Edit Pipe Sections
Information about the Edit pipe section dialog in potable water pipe network calculation.
The dialog allows you to influence the calculation by adding additional values to the calculated data and/or adjusting the maximum velocities individually. Values of the calculation dialog that change due to entries in the Edit pipe section are displayed in bold in the calculation dialog.

Settings
Length
The value is taken from the model. But you can change the value here. Clicking 
resets the values to the constructed dimensions.
Pipe bends 90°, Pipe bends 45°
drawn: Shows the amount of constructed bends in this pipe section.
additional: Enter the amount of bends that are to be given out as additional material in the material list.
Appliances pressure loss
Enter an additional pressure loss for appliances in this pipe section.
Calculation
Maximum velocity
If you want to assign a different maximum velocity to this pipe section, enter the value here. If the entry is 0, the maximum value from the global Settings is used.
Dimensioning according to available R-value
Enabled: The pipe section is dimensioned according to maximum velocity and available R-value.
Disabled: The pipe section is only dimensioned according to maximum velocity.
Sound limit
This drop-down list is available if you selected the Russian potable water standard SP 30.13330.2020 as the method in the Configuration dialog. From the list, you can select the sound limit in dB(A) that should apply to the selected section.
Reset
Resets all entries to the values calculated from the model.
