About Reports

Explains the concept of reports in the Pipe and Air Duct Network Calculation of the LINEAR Solutions.

If errors, warnings or notes occur during the calculation, these are listed in the Reports dialog and you can display a detailed explanation of the cause of the error and, if necessary, suggestions for remedial action. The reports in this dialog are structured according to errors, warnings and notes, which may also be listed according to their reference to the respective system.

Depending on whether errors, warnings or notes have occurred, the Reports ... button in the calculation dialog has a different color.

Button in the calculation dialog	Description
	Button with green checkmark: No notes, warnings or errors occurred during the calculation.
	Blue button with info symbol: The Reports dialog contains information on the calculation.
	Yellow button with warning symbol: The Reports dialog contains warnings and, if necessary, notes on the calculation.
	Red button with error symbol: The Reports dialog contains errors and, if applicable, warnings and/or notes on the calculation.

If an entry in the Reports dialog affects an element that is listed in the tables of the calculation dialog (individual components, sections and flow paths), you can select this element in the calculation dialog and edit its properties there directly if necessary. You can also display the relevant elements in the drawing. If a report refers to Reports and Tasks, you can directly open the Reports and Tasks tab with the corresponding topic. If required, you can filter the reports. Both individual entries and entire report groups can be ignored if they are warnings or notes. You can also create a text file with all detailed report descriptions.
