Details of the Floor Tank

Information on the Floor Tank dialog.

This dialog allows you to configure a floor tank. Based on a selected tank type, you can set the number of mounting brackets and the number of positions per mounting bracket as required. The last changes made to a configuration are saved with the project and displayed when the dialog is reopened.

Component library

Overview of all available components for equipping the floor tank. Individual components can be dragged and dropped to the desired position.

Tank type

Drop-down list with the available tank types. You can choose between round and square types in different configurations. The selection of the tank type determines the shape and final size of the floor tank.

Mounting Bracket

A mounting bracket is a vertical switch group with up to four components. Clicking on Insert Mounting Bracket adds another mounting support to the configuration with three positions by default. All mounting brackets are listed with their number of positions on the right of the graphic. Click on to delete the respective mounting bracket. The number of positions for each mounting bracket can be subsequently adjusted using the drop-down list. As soon as a component has been stored, the name is listed in the corresponding position. If the component is available in different versions, the desired version can be selected via the Type drop-down list.

The individual positions in the graphic can be populated with components from the component library using drag-and-drop. If a component from the component library is placed in a position that is already occupied, the existing component is replaced. Components can also be subsequently moved to a different position in the configuration using drag-and-drop. If there is already a component at the target position, the positions are swapped after dropping. A placed component can be copied to other positions in the configuration by holding down the Ctrl key and dragging and dropping. If the target position is already occupied, the existing component is replaced with the copied component. A component that is not required can be selected and removed from the configuration using the Del key. As long as the configurator is open, any action can be undone with Ctrl + Z or restored with Ctrl + Y.
