About LINEAR Void Manager

Explains the concept of the LINEAR Void Manager.

The LINEAR Void Manager was designed for the communication of void proposals in the Void planning workflow and enables almost seamless collaboration between the various project participants.

the Void Manager allows the responsible person to open BCF files containing void proposals and classify the proposals as either rejected or accepted. If a void proposal is accepted, a corresponding provision for voids is placed in the model. Void proposals can be displayed individually or in multiple selections in the architectural model.

No license for LINEAR Solutions is required to classify the void proposals. Project participants who do not have a LINEAR license can download the LINEAR Void Manager free of charge from the download page https://www.linear.eu/de/software/loesungen-fuer-autodesk-revit/linear-void-manager/and then install it. After installation, the Revit Void Manager is available on the Additional modules tab of the LINEAR Ribbon.

The list of void proposals can be filtered by status, storey and system to keep track of larger projects.
