Designing Pipes, Ducts and Cable Trays
Learn how to design pipe networks, duct networks and cable trays.
This chapter provides information about functions, options and fundamental concepts related to the construction of pipes, ducts and electrical systems.
When designing pipes, ducts or electrical systems, first set the design level and select the discipline-related system class with which the pipe or duct is to be designed. In the case of electrical systems, select from suitable service types. Neutral systems or manufacturer systems are available for the design. Once a pipe run is constructed, you can add additional pipes in parallel, which can be composed of different disciplines and system classes, materials and dimensions.
