Information on the Heating/Cooling elements configurator dialog.

Using the heating/cooling element configurator, you define the dimensions and connection position of a heating/cooling element, and add information about the manufacturer and model. Then insert the heating or cooling element into the model.

Description

Type

Specifies the type of the device. You can choose radiators, underfloor convectors and radiant ceiling panels.

Manufacturer, Model / Art. No., Type, Description

Specifies the manufacturer, model, article number, type and, if applicable, a more detailed description for the radiator, underfloor convector or radiant ceiling panel. The information is stored in the properties of the component under ID data and can be used for labeling.

Width, Depth, Height

Indicates the dimensions of the radiator, underfloor convector or radiant ceiling panel.

Wall distance

Specifies the wall distance of the device. When placing the radiator, underfloor or convector or radiant ceiling panel, the wall distance is automatically kept.

Connection nominal diameter

Specifies the pipe diameter for the connections.

Water volume

Indicates the amount of water that the radiator, underfloor convector or radiant ceiling panel can hold.

Performance data heating/cooling

Performance data heating/Performance data cooling

With activated checkbox the performance data can be set. The set values are taken from the component and used in the pipe network calculation.

Capacity

Capacity of the selected type. When entering the capacity, the mass flow rate is determined and displayed on the basis of the supply and return temperatures.

Mass flow rate

Mass flow rate of the selected type. When entering the mass flow rate, the capacity is determined and displayed on the basis of the flow and return flow temperature.

Supply water temperature

Indicates the supply temperature.

Return water temperature

Indicates the return water temperature.

Available configurations

Indicates the connection position. Select the desired connection position using the pictograms. For radiators, the connection position is shown as front view, for underfloor convectors and radiant ceiling panels as top view.

OK

Stores the entered data and the radiator, underfloor convector or radiant ceiling panel can be inserted in the model. The current construction level is used.
