Creating Room Groups

Shows step-by-step how to create room groups required for export to DÄMMWERK and assign rooms to them.

Before you begin

You would like to create room groups and assign rooms to them in order to subsequently export all the required room data for creating an energy performance certificate with the DÄMMWERK software.

Requirement:

All relevant room components of the rooms to be exported are present and the values assigned to them are correct.

Navigate to:

Menu bar ➤ File ➤ Export to DÄMMWERK ➤ Room groups

Procedure

  1. If necessary, select the module to which you would like to assign the room groups from the Module drop-down list.
  2. If necessary, activate Rooms in max. one group per module (new groups only).
  3. Click Add Room group .
  4. In the following window, enter the name of the new room group and confirm your entry.

    The created room group is now in the List of room groups in the left area of the dialog and rooms can be assigned to the room group.

  5. Select the rooms you would like to assign to the room group from the Selection of rooms to be considered list in the right area of the dialog.
    Tip:

    If necessary, use the Filter function to filter the rooms of the project with search terms and, if necessary, regular expressions (RegEx).

  6. To create additional room groups, if necessary, repeat steps 2 to 5.
  7. Close the dialog.

Results

You have created one or more room groups and carried out the assignment of rooms.

What to do next

In the dialog Export to DÄMMWERK you can now define the room groups to be exported.
