Admin Control Center Displays an Incorrect Program Version
Problem
The Admin Control Center (ACC) displays the wrong program versions.
Cause
Normally the .xml file, which is responsible for the description of the licenses in the ACC, is automatically imported with the license. In case of this error, the automatic import of the .xml file did not work.
Example:
You imported the license file with the licenses for version 22, but you only see version 21 in the ACC, although version 22 can be started successfully.
Solution
Procedure
- Open the following path in your file browser: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Aladdin Shared\HASP\vendors.
- Delete all .xml files in the vendors folder.
- Restart the Sentinel License Manager service.
- Run the last .linlic file you received by double-clicking it.
You get a message that you have already imported the license file.
The .xml file will still be installed on your server.
The current version names are now displayed in the ACC. In the future, the .xml file will also be stored automatically again with each licensing, without you having to intervene.
