Connecting with Flexible Hose (Roof Drainage)

Shows step-by-step how to create a connection in a roof drainage system using the Connect with flexible hose < command.

Before you begin

You want to connect a roof drain to a roof drainage pipe in a roof drainage system using a hose.

Requirements:

You have drawn a roof outlet and a roof drainage pipe.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline Roof Drainage ➤ 3D - Floor planning ➤ Create tab ➤ Command group Pipes and Fittings ➤ Connect with flexible hose

Initial situation:

Procedure

  1. Click on the Connect with flexible hose < button.
  2. Select all drains that are to be connected.
  3. Do a right click to end the selection.
    The program prompts the object that is to be connected last. The pipes end at this object and are cut or extended to this point.
  4. Optional: If necessary, select the last component at which the pipe should end and do a right click to end the selection.
    Note: If there is no last object and the pipe is to remain in the current form, you can skip this step of the command by right-clicking.
  5. Select the roof drainage pipe to which you want to connect.

Results

The roof drains are then connected and the last piece of pipe is changed to be a hose.
