“Healthcare” area of the Ventilation module in LINEAR Building.

General Room Data

The room number, the room name and the room temperature are displayed, which you can adjust as required. The Exterior and Interior fields show the exterior or interior clear dimensions of the room. You can adjust the dimensions in the Room Data dialog.

: Opens the Room Data dialog in which you can adjust the parameters of the room.

Area

Hospital Sector: Drop-down list for selecting the area within the hospital. Different room types in accordance with DIN 1946-4 are available in different areas.

Room Type according to DIN 1946-4: Drop-down list for selecting the room type according to DIN 1946-4. Different default values for calculating the minimum volume flow rates are stored for the different room types, which you can adjust as you wish.

Basic Data

Number of Persons

Defines the number of people room. Values originating from the CAD program and changed values are shown in bold. Clicking on sets the number to zero if no other calculation method with guide values for the number of persons has been selected. If another calculation method with guide values is selected, the value of this method is used, as no guide values for the number of persons are calculated as part of DIN 1946-4.

Number of Patients

Defines the number of patients in the room.

Reference Area

Defines the reference area of the room. By default, the area determined from the clear internal dimensions is used from the general room data, which you can adjust as required. Click on to restore the value from the general room data.

LTF Outlet Surface: Specifies the total area of all outlets that ensure low-turbulence displacement flow for room type Operating Room 1a.

Minimum Volume Flow Rate

Minimum Air Exchange Rate

Defines the minimum air exchange rate for the room. Clicking on restores the default value if a default value is stored for this parameter for the selected room type.

Minimum Volume Flow Rate

Defines the minimum volume flow rate for the room. Clicking on restores the default value if a default value is stored for this parameter for the selected room type.

Minimum Volume Flow Flow Rate per Area

Defines the area-related minimum volume flow rate for the room. Clicking on restores the default value if a default value is stored for this parameter for the selected room type.

Minimum Volume Flow Rate based on LTF Outlet Surface

Defines the minimum volume flow rate of the LTF outlet surfaces for rooms of room type Operating Room 1a. Clicking on restores the default value if a default value is stored for this parameter for the selected room type.

Minimum Flow Rate per Person

Defines the person-related minimum volume flow rate. Clicking on restores the default value if a default value is stored for this parameter for the selected room type.

Minimum Volume Flow Rate per Patient

Defines the patient-related minimum volume flow rate. Clicking on restores the default value if a default value is stored for this parameter for the selected room type.
