About Quick-Entry

Explains the concept of Quick-Entry in the context of calculating approximate heat loads.

The approximate heat load calculation enables a quick entry of the rooms, in which an area-related energy requirement for heating is taken into account. The approximate heat load of the individual rooms is determined from the room areas, room temperatures and the area-related energy requirement. This eliminates the need to enter or transfer the individual room components such as walls, windows and doors and to define the thermal properties of the room components. For this reason, there are no tables for creating room components on the room levels of the building structure. Instead of the tables, a link is provided to switch to the heat load quick entry of the corresponding storey. Based on the approximate heat loads of the rooms determined via quick entry, you can then design the rooms.
