Details on the “Partitions” and “Spools/Sections” Dialogs

Information on the Partitions and Spools/Sections dialogs of the Project tab.

You can edit, add or delete partitions or spools/sections in these dialogs.

Note: To use partitions or spools/sections, the Layer Manager must be activated and a suitable layer key must be created. If necessary, click Reset to Default in the Layer Manager to set a suitable layer key.

Spools/sections dialog in LINEAR Solutions for Autodesk AutoCAD

Tag: Defines the name for the partition or spool/section.

Line Weight Axes: Defines the line weight for displaying the pipe or duct axes in partitions or spools/sections.

Note: Make sure that the AutoCAD option Show/ Hide Line Weight is switched on so that the set line weight is visible. By default, this option can be found in the AutoCAD Status Bar.

Color: Defines the colors used in partitions or spools/sections depending on the view settings.

Note: Please note that the settings in the Graphical Elements and Display areas of the View Settings command group of the Tools tab may also have an effect on the display of the components located on the partitions or spools/sections.

Layer Code: Defines the code for the layer used by the partition or spool/section. The number of possible characters in the layer abbreviation depends on the number of variables P in the layer key. If necessary, add more Ps to the layer key to be able to use more characters in the layer abbreviation (Configuration General (Layer Manager) ).
