Details on the “Configuration” Dialog

General Information

The General tab is where you make general settings for the program. For example, you can adjust the behavior of the program start and interface, make settings for the language and region used, activate layer management and specify the layer key to be used.

3D Design (General)

On the 3D Design (General) tab you find settings that affect the rendering of 3D objects with “Inplace Modeling”. These are 3D pipelines, 3D air ducts and 3D electrical routes as well as radiant heating and cooling circuits.

Pipe Construction

On the Pipe Construction tab, you can define the welding gap thickness as a global deduction for the mass extracts and set which components are to be taken into account during automatic labeling.

3D Air duct construction

On the 3D Air Duct Construction tab, you make specific presettings for the 3D air duct construction. For example, you can define all relevant settings for the dimensions of the various duct shapes and automatic connecting.

3D Electrical Cable Trays

On the 3D Electrical Cable Trays tab, you find all the specific presets for drawing 3D cable trays. For example, define all relevant settings regarding the dimensions of the cable trays and set which information is displayed in the tooltip when connecting to a component.

Planning

On the Planning tab, you will find presets for radiator rendering, radiator labeling and for connecting objects to pipes.
