Details on the "3D Cable Trays" Tab in the Configuration
Information about the 3D Electric Cable Trays tab in the LINEAR configuration.
In this dialog, you make the default settings for drawing 3D Cable ducts.
You are here:
Cable duct
Specifies the relevant dimensions for the cable duct.
Section Length: Specifies the section length for ducts in mm.
Extensions: Specifies the extension for transitions in mm.
Inner radius: Specifies the inner radius for bends in mm.
Length of Reducers: Specifies the value suggested in the Length field in the dialog box for transitions.
Floor Length: Specifies the value suggested in the Length field in the dialog box for swan necks.
Connector tool tip
Define which information should be displayed when connecting to a component. You can select duct type, duct dimensions and the construction heights of the upper and lower edge of the duct. The tooltip appears when the draw command is active and you place the crosshairs on the connector arrow without clicking.
Distances for storey snap
During vertical construction, you can "snap" the reference edges Upper edge floor and Bottom edge ceiling with an adjustable distance by pressing the Ctrl key. These distances can be determined here.
Tolerance
Determines the tolerance for the distance between two ducts, in which two duct connections are still recognized as connected in the design with AutoCAD. When duct components are moved, other components whose connections are within this tolerance limit are also moved. The tolerance is only taken into account for duct connections that have the same dimensions or the same nominal widths and are aligned or slightly offset to each other.
After changing this value, AutoCAD must be restarted for the changes to take effect.
Passage height
Specifies the height in mm that should remain unobstructed at passage height when changing height.
Duct cast shadow
Specifies whether shadows are created for the ducts in the drawing.
