Details on the “Isolate/ Hide” Area

Information on the Isolate/Hide Area.

In this area, you can hide objects in the drawing step by step. Hidden objects are not deleted, but simply no longer displayed in all views until the process is undone using the arrow buttons.

You are here:

Tools tab ➤ Sections/Views ➤ Isolate/Hide

Hide: After clicking on the button, you can select the objects to be hidden in the drawing. Confirm the selection by right-clicking or pressing Enter. Click on the single arrow to the left to undo the last hide operation. Click on the double arrow on the left to show all hidden objects again.

Click on the single arrow to the right to hide the last displayed object. Click on the double arrow on the right to hide all previously isolated objects.

If you save a drawing with hidden objects, the next time you open the drawing these are recognized and you have the option of showing all hidden objects again.
