Split Drawings into Attachments and Spools
Shows step-by-step how to divide components into different systems and spools in order to create assembly plans for example on the basis of this division.
Before you begin
You wish to divide the components of a drawing into different systems (assemblies) and spools, for example, to create assembly plans based on this division.
Requirements:
- Layer management must be active ( ).
- The layer key must contain variables for the partition (Spools/Sections) and System ( ).
- The components must be located on layers that contain a layer abbreviation for spools/sections and systems.
- The systems to which you want to assign components have already been created ( ).
